Style Crush | Lipstain

So I love to get gussied up and feel super pretty, like any girl right? But I have no idea how to pick out a lip color that works for me. Usually I just look around and pick out a color that I like because it's so pretty; but its never something that will work with my skin tone or it makes my teeth look yellow (hello, I drink enough coffee as it is, I don't need my lip color to remind me). So for now, or until I get brave, I'm merely drooling over some super pretty lip stain.

I am loving the Sassy Mauve, Fruity Nude, Berry Smooch and Wild Berry Wink! I just think they're really pretty! I'm not gonna lie, with a name like Wild Berry Wink, I'd wear it ;-) How do you pick out your lip color? What are you loving right now for makeup?

Creative Small Spaces

Andrew and I are renting possibly, the smallest mountain cottage ever constructed. It's the coziest house I've ever been in but it presents a challenge when trying to store things. We literally have 3 feet of counter space, just enough room to squeeze in a table and chairs, a closet straight out of the 20's and a bathroom that reminds me of the hotel bathrooms in Paris. I'm always looking for creative storage ideas and decorating to take advantage of the space. I'm super inspired by this creative idea! It's a home made out of shipping containers!

Isn't that fantastic?! I'm dreaming of an open floor plan in our next place and lovely airy colors! How do you style your small spaces?

Style Crust | 50's & 60's Dresses

Hiya! How was your holiday weekend? We had the best time! We slept in and stayed up late, went mini golfing, had a fire with old friends, had surprise visits, went adventuring, found some great new photo shoot locations and watched the fireworks on top of a power box. Our town out did itself with the show this year, it was fabulous. It has been so humid recently that the smoke didn't clear from the fireworks so each new one they shot up lit up the cloud like magic. It was like a crazy amazing thunderstorm! All we could do was sit with our mouths open and try to drink it all in!

Andrew and I have a photo shoot coming up in July and I've been looking around for the perfect vintage dress. I'm really leaning towards the 50's and 60's styles and etsy has been my best friend for looking! How gorgeous are these?

Style Crush | 1920's & Braids

I've always loved the 20's era with flappers and women breaking out of traditional roles, so good. The fashion has always really inspired me too. Right now I'm LOVING dresses and hats from the 20's!

Ugh, with the fringe and the pearls and the drop waist dresses?! Calgon, take me away! 

I'm loving these summer braids! My hair is super fine and I don't have a lot of it so it's awesome to see head dresses that have been braided with feathers attached to them! Pretty sure I'm going to have to make a few of those beauties! What are you loving this summer?

Style Crush | Vintage Wallpaper

I have a bedside table that I gave a little makeover when I bought it. It's way yellow, which I love but, I want to tone it down just a little with some vintage wallpaper behind the shelves. So, that got me looking at vintage wallpaper and led to a total style crush! Here are a few of my favorites...

Aren't those lovely? I think any of those would be awesome as an accent to the bedside table. It cracks me up that I've had it since August and am just now getting around to putting wallpaper in it. Wah wah. I'm excited to check out our local thrift stores this weekend! Hopefully I'll find the perfect wallpaper! What are some style crushes you're having this week?
