A: Keep your chin up and take the situation in stride. Realize there is wisdom to come from it.

A: It's your wedding. It's about you and A. Let it go.

Q: When was the last time you cried?
A: At the Wonder Years a couple of nights ago. Gets me every time.

Q: What was one thing you tried in the last year that you never thought you would?
A: Uh, getting married. 

Q: What was your least favorite subject in high school?
A: I wasn't a fan of math.

Q: Who was the last person you hugged?
A: Mr. Horton.

Q: Your strangest physical feature?
A: Hmmm... I can shake my eyes?

Q: What was your favorite thing to do as a child?
A: Make believe.

Q: If you could have lunch with any famous person, living or dead, who would it be?
A: Don Miller, CS Lewis, Jan Karon, Sam Beam, Justin Vernon, etc.

Q: Have you ever met a celebrity?
A: Leo DeCaprio, Michael Jordan, Dolly Parton.

Q: What is the last concert you went to?
A: Iron and Wine.

Q: Who's the last person you kissed?
A: Mr. Horton.

Q: What TV show do you watch that you feel ashamed to admit?
A: JERSEYLICIOIUS! Omg, I know. 

Q: Have you been out of your home country?
A: Yep.

Q: What is your most acute sense?
A: Intuition.

101 Questions // Part 1

Another old photo from college. The bulletin board behind me was one of my favorite parts of my dorm room.

Q:Where did your blog title come from?
A: Since I was little I've been called bear or little bear. As I've gotten older and checked into what the bear represents I found out that it suits me. So when I was thinking about a blog that would represent me I thought this title was kind of perfect.

Q: What is your current living arrangement?
A: Andrew and I live in a little mountain cottage with our 4 pets.

Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: For a hot minute I wanted to be Dr. Barbie. And then I decided that I needed to be a rich business executive so I could take my mom to Europe. ;-)

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Being a full time travel photographer, owning our public house and I think teaching (besides pre-k) would be pretty rad.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: I really can't answer that! At the moment I love: Jeremiah Johnson, Sleeping Beauty, The Holiday, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Love Actually and Quigely Down Under.

Q: Do you use the correct keys when using a key board?
A: Oh yes. In my elementary school they took computer class VERY seriously. I'm all about some home keys and I can talk to you while I'm typing and typically have no mistakes. Huzzah for stressing out little kids for some typing knowledge.

Q: What was your first car?
A: I had a 1984 Subaru GL-10. It was my grandmother's and when she passed she left it to me. So I was pumped when I got it because there were a lot of memories for me associated with it! She would take me to McDonald's for chicken nuggets and honey so some days I would go get some nuggets and honey in my Subaru just for fun with my brother. So far it's been my favorite.

Q: Chocolate or Vanilla?
A: Pssh. Duh. Chocolate.

Q: Favorite board game?
A: Clue, Guess Who, Life and Battleship.

Q: What book are you reading right now?
A: The Hobbit

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: Probably a momma bear, CO, F&O Public House, Europe?

Q: What is your favorite sport to watch?
A: Soccer or Rugby.

Q: Who in your family are you closest to?
A: Mom and Dad probably. In different ways and for different reasons.

Q: What is on your nightstand now?
A: A winter bouquet Andrew made me when we first started seeing each other, an owl, a lamp, a coffee mug, retainers, phone charger, and various hair ties/bobby pins.

Q: What are you currently listening to?
A: Lots of Bon Iver, John Prine and Iron and Wine.

Q: What is your favorite book of all time?
A: The Mitford Series. Those books make my heart feel better.


Q: Who is your favorite actor/actress?
A: Audrey Hepburn, Julia Roberts and Zach Galifianakis


Q: Favorite fruit?
A: Kiwi or blue berries


Q: What are you afraid of?
A: I'm not a fan of spiders or losing people I love.


Q: What is your favorite quote at the moment?
A: But I have the autumn wanderlust upon me, and would fain be off with a knapsack on my back and no particular destination. tolkien
