Change. What a word, huh? Personally, I like most change. Mostly when it's positive but also when it's challenging as most positive changes are. Andrew and I are making some big changes to our business and it all began with January 1. Now we're 5 days into the new year and I'm ready to spell some of those out!
The first big change that we're making is to focus on story. We make pictures for a living. It's extraordinary and we feel blessed with the clients we have and excited about our future clients too! On our website it says that we want to know you. And it's true. We're really focusing on getting to know our clients and being able to capture and tell their story. That's what it's all about anyway, right?
That leads me to introduce Wherewithal. Wherewithal is our way of supporting you though your 2012 resolutions! Here is the deal:
You let us in on your resolution. Tell us your story, why did you choose it?
Then you let us document it! 5 photos telling your resolution story.
The big bonus here is you choose how you recieve these photos. Do you want to have a hanging collage in your house? Do you want them in story board fashion? A press printed book? You choose!
I think the neatest idea is to use this for inspiration. I picture someone going out and purchasing a collage frame with 5 photo slots. They're empty until we can fill them up with victories. So the first goal he/she reaches is put in the first photo slot and so on until the entire 5 slots are filled with those victories and the story is told on how he/she got there.
