Ember Art & A Guest Post

We made a fire pit in our back yard on Sunday and it has been glorious! We had the first fire with our friend's Jeff, Stacey and Chris! We made some smores and  had a couple of drinks generally made merry. Especially when we figured out how to make ember art - phrase coined by, Chris - and then we went nuts with it!

Stacey with Roofus, it was kinda sweet

Ready with my stick to skewer some marshmallows

Right on

I think he was eating his stick, I'm not actually sure what was happening here

He was pumped on marshmallow in his beard

First heart!

it says F&O

Our hearts, together

Stacey & Chris at the fire

Their hearts together

Stacey's daisy and Chris's tulip - until he forgot what a tulip looked like

The boys drew dinosaurs

some of them looked like moose

Andrew & Chris

Stacey & I

An owl, classic
It was pretty much the coolest photographic discovery so far, I've always enjoyed photos like these and when we figured it out... man, so fun! On another note I did a guest post for Campfire Chic about some lighting tips with photography. It was really fun to write and it was really exciting to see that some readers found the information helpful! So heart warming!

Happy Tuesday!

Those photos are incredible!! How do you like your marshmallow? I like mine charred so that I can slide off the outter layer and eat the gooey inside last. :)
