Sunday Photos

We have a tradition every year where we gather with a few key families at the Pink Beds. We've been going there forever. It's where my first birthday was and where we had our wedding reception, it's kind of a big deal.
*side story*
[When I was a kid (because we were always there) my dad and grandpa would bring pink foam up there to cover the benches at the picnic tables to make them more comfortable and that is why I thought it was called the "Pink Beds"]

So this year even though we're all grown and one of the kids is pregnant - no it's not us :-) and one of the parents was in the hospital the night before with a concussion - we all met up to play and eat and hike! This was Andrew's first foray into the tradition and he really enjoyed it. I'm going to share it with you in photos. The only thing we didn't do was hunt easter eggs but that's only because the oldest kid is my sister and she's 14, so she's over it. However, that was made up for by the emergency med-evac that occurred with a helicopter and everything. Fo real.

He's kinda handsome

There you have it. A few photos from Easter. Mom even put together a basket for each of us, meaning peanut better cup eggs and lots of chocolate! It was a super sweet surprise. I hope your Easter was a blast too!
