This is how We do

Hiya! Our Sunday is GORGEOUS! How is yours?

Last night we went out for our 1 year right? We took Evie and listened to Iron and Wine and The Arcade Fire all the way to Asheville. Totally enjoying ourselves. We decided to see Due Date at the Cinibar - which we love - and go out for coffee afterward or something fun like that. When we looked online for our tickets there was a $2.50 convenience charge for ordering them online. Andrew was like pssh the heck with that we'll just buy them when we get there. Well... when we got there they were sold out for 7:30. Lesson #1 pay the convenience charge. We bought our tickets for 10 instead. Not so bad.

We decided we'd try to grab dinner in town. We have a gift card for a resturant that is ...okay, not great but would be okay for our wait. We get there and not only is the hostess a little ridiculous but the place was SO crowded that I started to get nervous just standing there! So we did call ahead seating at one of our favorite steak houses and peaced out. Lesson #2: Never settle. We had about 30 minutes to kill before we were going to be called for a table so we hung out in the car. Right across form a hotel. So we spent 30 minutes creeping on people in their hotel rooms, it was pretty hilarious. Lesson #3: Always people watch.

At our steak house we propositioned a waitress to be a model for us. It was the first time I've ever done that and since it was a girl we thought if it came from me it would be AS creepy... she was so sweet and we're excited to hear from her! Lesson #4: Be brave.

Due Date is hysterical and everyone needs to watch it. Not. Even. Joking. Zach Galifianakis is one of my favorites anyway, but in this movie just looking at him makes you laugh.

Before we left yesterday we put Ira on self timer and decided to dance in our front yard. Yeah, it's just how we roll. But the photos are like magic. Every single one makes me want to just gaze at it and re-live the memory. Don't you just love photos like that? Here are a few of my favorites...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

love love, shannon
