Movie Traditions

You know those little family traditions that come around each Christmas? Do you guys have any? We like traditions at my house, but we don't really have very many Christmas ones anymore. When my siblings and I were growing up we had several traditions but we've gotten older and we have different interests now. BUT! We do have one that lives on.

Each year we watch several holiday movies! You guys know about one of them since I put my favorite part up - Rudolf! I'm tell you, Yukon Cornelius just makes my heart happy!

We also watch The Holiday. This one is one of my favorite movies probably, ever. But this clip is probably my favorite part of the entire movie. I love it when she ditches the loser and keeps her promise and when Arthur gives her a corsage to wear it makes me cry. Not. Even. Kidding.

Love Actually. And I don't think I have to say any more about that. Of course, I can't put the video of Hugh Grant dancing to the Pointer Sisters here since embedding isn't okay but here is a link. Aaand here is another amazing clip.

You can't forget It's a Wonderful Life. I mean, Christmas isn't complete without one showing of George and Clarence!

Tell me that doesn't make your Tuesday a little bit better! What movies to you guys watch each Christmas?

I love the holiday! But I watch that all year long. Haha! My favorite Christmas movies are White Christmas, Holiday Inn.

We just have one that is a tradition: White Christmas. It just isn't Christmas without Bing Crosby and Dannie Kay.

Thank you for reminding me about The Holiday! I forgot how much I love that movie and how quickly it flies by even though it's over 2 hours long... We tend to watch Elf :)

I LOVE The Holiday. My mom and I watch it every winter. Actually, I'm pretty positive we're going to change things up a bit and have Christmas Fettucini on Christmas Eve this year because every time I watch that part of the movie I think, "Hmmmm. Christmas fettucini."
