Weekend Recap

This weekend was so great! On Friday I was able to attend Carla's baby shower, on Saturday I got to spend most of the day with Andrew, Stacey and Chris and yesterday we (read in a southern drawl) made a genuine southern dinner.

Since the shower is over I can show you photos of the owl I made for Carla and Cooper! Carla and Josh decided to do Cooper's nursery in an aviator theme so she asked for something akin to an old aviator style for the owl, I thought a bomber jacket would do the trick :]

I love the shot of her looking at the owl and the photo. All of the work that goes into making an owl or a photo shoot makes it all worth it when I get to see the reaction of a friend or client! Do you know what I mean? It's incredibly heart warming!

We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole for supper last night. It was delicious! I helped mom make the chicken... it was kind of gross. But SO worth it! After supper Andrew decided to help Kelly learn how to play guitar. They sat in the front yard and practiced, it was super sweet.

What did you do this weekend?

haha the mister hates touching rare chicken...for some reason i don't mind it...strange i guess...your southern dinner sounds magical, wish i could have joined in and helped eat it!
