A Japanese Steakhouse!

Have you ever eaten at one? 'Cause they are absolutely fantastic and beyond fun! Andrew and I are actually going with my family. It's like a crazy family date. I'm excited to go tonight, it's a whirl of delicious Japanese food, atmosphere and chemistry with your chef. The chef pretty much makes the entire experience. We always hope for a fun one that will make the onion volcano and smiley faces with the olive oil on the stove top. So fun!
I always get the hibachi shrimp but I always look forward to the zucchini and onion slices that they sautee up. Holy cow, so good. Mom, Dad and I always get some sushi but usually Dad and I try a new kind of sushi. Last time it was eel and it was surprisingly good - don't be fooled by preconceived notions - eel is good. This will be Andrew's first or second time to have a meal at a Japanese Steakhouse, I'm really pumped on being able to share it with him!

Oh the onion volcano. Now that is a date. My husband laughs because he always wants me to do that same trick at home.
Way more exciting that our Friday night dinner date spot-- Burger King. Though our meal was delicious. :)
